More than 300 tall palm trees frame the turquoise wave lagoon. Summer temperatures, gentle waves rolling onto the palm-lined beach and an impressive summer setting. When you step into this new paradise, you enter your own world.
In addition to the spaciousness and outstanding facilities, there is loads for guests to discover in the marvellously warm water. Turbulentthen gentle, the Crazy River carries swimmers from the indoor area to the large outdoor pool, where restful bubbly loungers relax you and freshly pressed juices, cocktails and other refreshments are served all year round. The bubbling spring is a tingling attraction in this new area, with the curative, 34°Cgeothermal waterinvigorating body and soul as it bubbles out from deep in the Earth. A toddlers' pool and a hundred cosy sun loungers are also part of the 9,000 m² new building.
THERME ERDING guests gain access to the new wave pool for no extra charge via GALAXY ERDING. All of the new attractions are included in the normal admission fee.
A specially designed wave machine ensures that the wave poolis just as exciting as the slides in GALAXY ERDING. With five different wave intensities, from gentle swells to "Fun Waves"for kids and families and the three-metre-high "Big Wave", THERME ERDING sets new standards in wave pools.
Technology that enthrals
The visionary engineer Josef Wund worked for years on creating a way of combining such a large range of wave options with the highest levels of safety.For the new holiday world at THERME ERDING, he designed a wave, or more precisely a wave form, the height of which can be exactly controlled. The special shape of the wave also ensures that swimmers are not pushed against the glass sides of the pool, even at the impressive maximum wave height of three metres.
The architect also met the most exacting requirements in terms of environmental protection and saving energy. "By employing the laws of nature, the natural atmospheric pressure is used highly efficiently in conjunction with cutting-edge air technology. Thanks to the pneumatics, this unique attraction only needs a fraction of the energy that other solutions known of to date require," Josef Wund explains. The energy requirement of only 40 kW proves that a maximum of fun in waves can be achieved very efficiently.
