Privacy Policy Facebook Fanpage

The use of this Facebook Page may involve the processing of personal data due to the use of Facebook Page-Insights. In order to make this processing comprehensible to you, we would like to provide you with the following information to give you an overview. To ensure fair processing, we would also like to inform you about your rights according to the European Data Protection Basic Regulation (DSGVO) and the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG).

General data protection information about Facebook

The moment you enter our fan page, your browser connects to Facebook and transmits information. This data is transmitted among other things:

For visitors who are not logged in/registered with Facebook:

IP address: Facebook automatically determines the IP address of the user when a fan page is called up.
Cookies: If you call up our fan page, cookies are set automatically. According to Facebook, the so-called datr cookie is used to identify the web browser that establishes the connection with the Facebook page and plays a key role in protecting the social network from "malicious activities". The datr cookie is valid for two years, but can be deleted via the browser settings.

For visitors who are registered and logged in to Facebook:

IP address: Facebook also determines the IP address of logged-in visitors (see above)
Cookies: Also in this case a datr cookie will be set (see above). If you are a member of Facebook and are logged in at the same time as your Facebook profile when you visit our "fan page", the c_user cookie will also be activated. Facebook links the visit on the "fan page" with your personal user account. This enables Facebook to track your user behavior.

For more information on how Facebook processes your personal data, please refer to the Facebook privacy policy under the following link: https://www.facebook.com/privacy/explanation.

Use of Facebook Page Insights

Facebook provides every fan page operator with page insights on their page. Page-Insights are summarized data, through which the fan page operator can gain insight into how people interact with his page. Page-Insights can be based on personal data collected in connection with a visit or interaction of people on or with our site and its content.

In order to meet the requirements of Art. 26 DSGVO regarding the joint responsibility of us and Facebook Ireland, we have concluded a Page-Insights supplement with Facebook. In this supplement Facebook undertakes to assume primary responsibility under the DSGVO for the processing of Insights data and to fulfil all obligations under the DSGVO with regard to the processing of Insights data (including Art. 12 and 13 DSGVO, Art. 15 to 22 DSGVO and Art. 32 to 34 DSGVO). Only Facebook Ireland can make and implement decisions regarding the processing of Insights data. Facebook Ireland will decide in its sole discretion how to fulfill its obligations under this Page Insights Supplement.

We ourselves as fan page operators do not make any decisions regarding the processing of Insights data and all other information resulting from Art. 13 DSGVO, including legal basis, identity of the person responsible and storage period of cookies on user devices.

Facebook Ireland makes the essential part of the Page Insights supplement available to the persons concerned. Facebook's information on the use of Page-Insights and the personal data processed in the process can be found under the following link: https://www.facebook.com/legal/terms/information_about_page_insights_data.

Purpose and legal basis of the data processing

Legal basis for the placement of Facebook-Insights is our legitimate interest according to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) DSGVO. We thereby pursue the recording and evaluation of user movements on the fan page to optimize our own social media presence. This enables us to optimally adjust our fan page to the site visitors and to create statistics about the usage behavior.
