25 years of Therme Erding - Unforgettable events in the anniversary month

To mark the anniversary, numerous events and activities transform the world's largest thermal spa into a particularly colourful holiday paradise.

On 3rd October, visitors experienced two special highlights around the spa's birthday. Two days later, on the 5th October, internationally renowned DJs and a spectacular fireworks display thrilled visitors at the big birthday party. At the anniversary press conference on 10th October, the Prime Minister himself paid a visit to the Therme Erding and took the opportunity to chat with guests and the team during his tour.

The anniversary press conference was held on 10th October to celebrate a quarter of a century of Therme Erding history. The most prominent guest at the conference was Minister President Dr. Markus Söder. In the festively set up Thermal Spa Restaurant Empire, the Minister President vividly recalled the exciting slides with his children in Galaxy Erding.

“South Sea feeling in Bavaria — Happy 25th birthday, Therme Erding! The combination of activity pools, slide park and relaxation spa is unique. That's what makes the Therme Erding so exciting and popular,” says Söder. A special South Sea Kebab created by the kitchen was of course a must-have.

Minister of State Ulrike Scharf and CSU parliamentary party leader Klaus Holetschek, who have been supporters of the Therme Erding for many years, also joined in the words of praise. While Holetschek remembered the late Therme Erding founder and visionary Josef Wund, Scharf emphasized the economic factor of the Therme Erding and, as Minister of Social Affairs, was particularly pleased about the 1,000 diverse jobs.
